My beer stash is finally big enough that I can't remember everything in it or when I bought it. I'm looking for an app that will track my beers especially by bottling date. A quick search at the App Store left me confused. Any advice on an app to track the contents of my beer cellar?

How about just throwing everything into your Notes section ?

I've been using Brew Vault for the past few years and it's great. I think it was $1.99 or so back when I bought it and it's updated regularly.

While I dp keep a running list in an email I send to myself, I've never gotten to where I needed to keep track of my beers and there was a time my cellar hit 560+ bottles. I guess some people just forget what they have or never keep track, but I just don't see the need for an app myself.

Nothing against anyone who does, just seems strange to me.

I use BrewVault as well. Can input as much detail as you want. I also like the fact they have the vault section, where I track my bottles and a notepad section (same format as vault) where I track drafts I had. You can get both lists emailed to you on request.

Thanks for the input so far. Right now I'm leaning toward putting it all in Excel and uploading to Google Drive. Free and easy!

IMO, just using Google Docs is easier. And cheaper if, like me, you don't have an Office license.

I prefer to just dig through the beers and be surprised instead of trying to keep track of it all.
