iPhone pic posting

    Ok I knew how before we just had this last update using the imgupr app but can't seem to figure it out now. Please keep in mind I'm not to tech savy :wink:

    I always just used Photobucket and copy/pasted the link. I switched to the Note 3 two days ago, so I don't know if the new update here fixed it. Although, the photobucket links are hard to get when trying to hold your finger on the link.

    I can see it just fine.. Are you using an iPhone for the threads? It would sure make it a ton easier than using the web browser. Also how did you get the pic uploaded by chance?

    What do you mean it'd be eaiser using the iPhone than the web browser? I'm using the web browser on the iPhone.
    I'm uploading the pic to the imgupr app then hit copy link, then hit the pic button on the text box and paste there.
    Hard to explain :confused:

    Yeah they have a few apps. I got the imgupr one. The icon looks like a arrow pointing up. It's the only one that would work for me.

    If you are using the imgur app, you want the "BBCode" which puts the html IMG tag around the link to the picture.

    Is this what your screen looks like after uploading a pic to the imgur app?

    If so, instead of selecting "copy link", select "get embed code". Then pick "BB code".

    Then just past it to the text box. At least that's how I do it. No idea if there's now am easier way with the upgrade....have yet to look into it.

    Itsthepleats- yes that's how it looks. And that's exactly how I used to do it. But since the oct 30 update It wouldn't let me paste it directly in the text box

    Nope still not working that way. I'm having to copy the link in the insert pic button on the tool bar above the text box.

    Ummm...at the risk of sounding really, really stupid, I just e-mail my iPhone pics to myself, copy them to tinypic, and THEN paste them to BA.

    ......I know, I'm an absolute freaking caveman. We have tools to make our lives easier and perform exactly this operation, and yet I'm e-mailing myself pictures that I took.

    In my defense, I hate cut/paste on a smart phone. Maybe it's my fingers and thumbs; a mouse and keyboard just seem so much easier to me. :grinning:

    Just recently realized this myself but there is a "Preview" button under "More Options" to the bottom right of the text box. Let's you check your post/pics before actually posting to a thread to see if everything is good.
