    Thanks, Fred - wasn't thrilled with that headline, think it overplays the "sorrow" part (which I tried to handle carefully in the column), though Paul certainly will be missed on Saturday.

    I like the writers who cover the Bend beer scene, but I wish they'd cover the personnel angle as well as features/events like you do.
