The majority of the beers that are bottled by Iron Hill (they refer to it as the Bottled Reserve series) are of higher gravity which are well suited for aging. You can read their list of bottled beers here:http://www.ironhillbrewery.com/lancaster/bottled-reserves.htm Cheers!
I just drank an Fe10 a few days back and wondered the same thing. Realistically unless it's hand written on the label it's highly unlikely they would have some sort of date stamped on their bottles considering how small their bottle beer batches are. I know I didn't find any date on my FE but it was quite tasty none the less.
No, Thank You! I go to your website frequently to check on bottle dates. Your website is a tremendous service to the beer drinkers! Cheers!
I have a bottle of Iron Hill's 2010 Vintage Old Ale that I plan on getting into this weekend. Thanks for reminding me!
