There appears to be more homeless, and the tent cities that follow, these days.

Here's what happened. Back in the day those weren't so much sketchy as just dead areas. But when the renovations of Spring, Main and Los Angeles st. happened, it pushed on the skid row population to move more towards the river. With the Northern side of Arts district already established with its gentrification, it really meant that a lot of the skid row homeless and crime made a bit of an east and south bound movement from the former areas it was present in. While you won't see too much near the river, it does mean that areas around where Iron Triangle is located get a feel of not being the safest because of the sort of isolation it has without any sort of night life just yet.

Then again, looking at the crime map...

Looks like Iron Triangle's location has a big gap around there. It may look sketchy as fuck but I think cause no one is going to that industrial part, it's the safest on the map.

The neighborhood is not terrible by any means. I've had a photos studio at the ETO building on 6th and Mill for almost two years now and while you may see random homeless folks here and there it's not like you're at skid row. Should start getting more gentrified as they develop the area more.

That said, I will not go to Iron Triangle

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind going to sketchy neighborhoods. I do it all the time. My issue was there were two cars parked that were freshly broken into, visible by broke glass and windows. That tells me that the perp was probably still around. Had that not been the case I would have parked without thinking twice. Places can be sketchy as all hell, but still be cool. In college I used to frequent a strip club that frequently had taser fights. But, you can't really beat $4 pitchers of well mixed drinks, and boobs. IT's building has the ability to be a cool, yet sketchy place. But the beer is far from it

It's been a week since IT posted anything on social media. Kind of going through withdrawals.

They are all still trying to recover from the biggest brewery opening in the history of the world (or something like that).

So disappointing to see this thread pop up again but with no real content. Got quite excited for a second.

I don't really see that as sneaky. A job offer was made, a short timeline was given. He took it. It happens in the corporate world all the time. I had maybe a 4 day window to decide on my new position and I thought that was generous. Doesn't seem out of the ordinary to me based on what we know with what happened.

Unless he gave one day notice, which is a dick move and nate's own fault. ;D

As for notice, Nate gave him a week not only to decide, but to get out to L.A. or the offer was off the table. :stuck_out_tongue:

Also, Maui owner didn't know the dude took the job and was bouncing out until and only because The Full Pint hit him up for a comment on the move. Playa did indeed, "make da noise"

Listened for about 5 minutes right now and cant take the dudes voice. All i heard was something about how IT should make a North East IPA since that is what everyone wants right now.

Maybe they should first try to make beer instead of flavorless colored water.

I saw a post on IG about them being on some podcast and to send questions in. As a complete joke and fully intending to be a smart ass I commented to ask them about when the next bottle share is. The guy responded "will do". Haha
