I might have only two days to brew the hazy ipa I was planning for the 4th of July. The day that works best is 19 days out from the 4th. I could make a day next week work, hopefully, maybe? I usually like more time so next week would be best if I can make it work.

    Target abv is 7%.

curious what most people think in regards to proper time for a hazy would be from gain to glass. I’ve turned around ipas in two weeks but they seem to green and oddly enough the hops seem to pop through will a little more time.

I keg on day 10 for most beers so I think you are more than ok.

Kveik yeast will get you there even faster if you are a fan of it.

With fast force carbonation, it's certainly possible to to have a hazy ready in 19 days. But you might (or might not) expect a little bit of yeast bite (unsettled tannins) at that point.

Yeah that’s my concern. Probably won’t be the best but it will be good enough to serve.

I like kveik and have used it with success on hazy ipas. I just bought the imperial juice yeast and have never used it. Been awhile since I’ve done a proper hazy so I really want to use that yeast. Otherwise, I would go kviek.

I usually brew at a slightly lower gravity but I'm able to drink mine in about 10 to 12 days. Will still improve over the next couple of weeks for sure but it's pretty much where it needs to be in under 2 weeks. Two things needed is the ability to spund and kegging your beer through a pressurized transfer.

I keg and do pressurized transfers, but don’t have a sounding valve. I would like to eventually for lagers.
