    Another Saturday option-

Greenbush (Sawyer MI) is an hour away. Another 20 minutes gets you to The Livery (Benton Harbor). Another hour gets you to Dark Horse (Marshall), and then it's about a half hour back to Bell's in Kalamazoo for the night.

Yeah, Greenbush is nice, and it's right over the border. Close by, there's also Shoreline in Michigan City. Between Greenbush and Bell's, you can stop by Paw Paw Brewing in Paw Paw. Between Bell's and Dark Horse is Arcadia in Battle Creek, which is worth visiting if you're out that way. If you stay near the Indiana/Illinois border, it's worth checking out Bulldog in Whiting.

Bell's is the king, IMO. Loved that place.

Not to thread jack, but thanks for inspiration. We have Friday and Saturday night in Merrilville, so Sunday is drive home day regardless. Really want to see the big red barn in GR, so I'll probably push it. Will have to see if more stops are in the cards. Dark horse is kind of the opposite direction for me.

One Trick Pony in Lansing would be a nice double up if you're by 3 Floyds. I'm really liking what I've had from this new brewery. Its only a tasting room, its very laid back, but the vibe is cool. Check it out - They are definitely open on Friday and Saturday.

If that server knew what you were saying, I don't think he would give you samples any more.

Thought this was a joke. It is, right? Go! What are you crazy? Create any excuse needed. Buy a couple of growlers, 4 each of the bombers available and cases of ZD. You WILL be thanking me later. Cheers!

Went last night. Had a 20 min wait at 8pm. F'n' great food. The bison burger with foie gras was out of this world. Service was impeccable. A lot more of a mixed aged crowd than I was expecting, had it in my mind it would be much younger, which I'm not.

Beyond the beer. Go. Go. Go. I could see wait staff getting frazzled on Saturdays, but for a Friday night, this was top notch.

Complaining about heavy metal music being too loud is like a miller lite drinker saying FFF beers suck.

We sat on the bar side at a high table. It was loud enough to drowned out the conversation at the table behind us, but not so loud we had to yell or lean in to talk to each other. I like hard rock, but I thought it was just right.

Death metal is not meant to be listened to at low volumes. The fact that they're playing it makes me want to visit there again more.

well after the release of bully guppy, id say slowing down for a minute is probably for the best... even though i would have liked to have made it in for baller stout this weekend.

Baller Stout is a lot better now than it was at the release a year ago, but you could still do a lot better with $30 at the pub than buy a Baller Stout.

Every beer sold in six-packs was available, including Zombie Dust, and also Dreadnaught, Panzer Wolf, BrooDoo (almost out!), ZesZesZes, RisGoop (I think?), and Stack'n'Stabb (BSPA).

Also: try the pork belly fried rice. It's awesome.

As others have mentioned, ZD was available by the case. Bought 2 myself. There was probably 80+ cases stacked by the carry out area. Plus skids stacked out in the warehouse. Just be sure if you want more than 2 cases and 4 bombers, you have cash or 2 credit cards with different names on them. My wife had to buy a couple of bombers on her card.

Have fun, now I'm wanting to go back for the rice!!! (Next trip...)
