I had an Old Jubilation from Avery yesterday at Uptown Tavern. The bartender said they have been back in the market for a couple of months.. First I have seen from them in along time. I would definitely welcome them back, but is this true?

99.99% sure that's two year old Avery.

They are returning at the end of next month. Salvation, Reverend, Hog Heaven, White Rascal, Ellie's brown and IPA.

I saw Avery 18 at US Liquor and Wine in Hopkins on Saturday and wondered the same. I had e-mailed Avery just a few weeks ago asking them about when they intended to come back. Dustin LeMoine--sales manager--responded on March 11 stating that he hoped to begin distributing here again this year; however, the new brewery slowed things down. He hoped we'd start seeing a trickle of volume in May or June.

They've got some pretty old stock in that store.
Still a nice little spot though.

Two year-old 'Old Jubilation' is still a pretty nice beer.

This is the one. I took a picture of it on the shelf and everything because I was so surprised.
Agreed, but old or not, if they are not distributed here, wouldn't they have to pull it? I'm not clear on the related laws. Plus, I'm pretty certain that it was newly put out since I pick through their stock pretty regularly.

I'm most certain they can still sell them. Multiple places have Jolly Pumpkin still on the shelves...

Yeah if they bought it from a licensed distributor, they can have it on their shelves until it sells.

Cool. That may explain this particular beer then, since I think it came out back in 2011. They probably just had it sitting somewhere off-shelf or I somehow missed it all this time.

Either way, as the Avery sales guy told me, we should start seeing a trickle over May and June. I look forward to it because I love some Avery brews.

JJ's website is SUPER out of date. That Avery listed is still there since they had it last. Don't believe anything off of it.

Quoted for truth. They ought to crib notes from Wirtz and/or Hohenstein.
