Seems like lots of people chanting the mantra "Whalez Bro" these days. Are you finding it tougher to strike a fair deal where both participants get to try beer from other areas, have the hoarders won?

No, most of my trade negotiations have been pretty low stress, friendly, and fair. I feel like you can usually get a sense pretty quickly whether someone is trying to "win", and I just decide I'm not interested if that seems to be the case.

I'm only about 12 trades in, but I have already determined I'm pretty much going to keep my trading in the context of relationships I have already established. Dealing with people who are trying to get their shrewd on just takes all the fun out of it. And there appears to be a lot of them out there.

trading probably easier than ever. the problem is if you yourself are trying to land "walez bro" but not willing to give up stuff people can get for not-"walez bro".

(that said, i don't believe in ransoming beers and think the whole activity is a lot better if you just try to hook up good traders as hard as you can--everyone ends up winning--but the point is just that, no, craft beer and trading itself getting more popular makes it easier, not harder... it's just harder to get that 500 bottle brewery only release--but of course it is, more people want it now)

Not hard at all when you have trading partners like Kevin! This guy is the man, period. But really, maintaining trading relationships with people from all over the country rather than making one-time trades with people on the ISO:FT forum is the way to go. I've been rather fortunate to end up with all of the great traders I deal with on a consistent basis.

I've met some pretty awesome people here, so I won't say trading is tough. But if you stick to the ISO:FT boards, then I can see where it can be tough.

Why does it seem like a variant of this question comes up every day?

Probably because people have to deal with less than stellar traders on a daily basis.

I have quite a few regular sex trading partners on here, but I still find random sex trades to be both exciting and risque. I've been pleasantly surprised by the sex trades I've received from regular partners and new ones alike! Sex Trading can get boring with the same partner over and over again!

Im batting damn close to 1000 when I post an ISO. The tough part is responding to threads and getting a response back. I wish people posted exactly what they wanted more often.
