I just starting drinking this beer for the first time about two weeks ago and I really enjoy it but Im not sure about something. On the box for the 4 pack it says that its an oak aged IPA but my bottle says that this is an Ale FLAVORED with oak staves if I remember correctly. The fact that Dogfish head has now made this beer a year around offering has me wondering if this beer is still aged in oak? Or have they now adapted to flavoring the beer with oak staves to make it a year round offering?

Pretty sure that on the tours I've been on they have two large oak fermentation tanks they use for this beer. They are right next to the Palo tank. They may have moved on, but I'm pretty sure they are still at the brewery.
