Is Central Waters BBA Stout A Poor Man's Bourbon County?

    I'm going with, "no," as I find the two to be very different but I still happen to like CW's BBA Stout - meaning, I don't think of it as a poor offering.

    Cost at retail* being a relative thing, I prefer Central Waters. Easier to find, giving me more time to chase trucks. :sunglasses:

    CW BA work is highly underrated. In fact I would not argue that, but would argue the smart man's BCS since is more economic and less headaches to acquire. -NewGlarusFan

    While I don't like it as much as BCBS, I think of it more as a "BCBS Jr." than a "poor man's" anything. It's a great beer, and while I prefer the thicker BCBS, I'd never be unhappy drinking one of CW's version of a BA stout.
