I go to a pub a few blocks from my house , kind of a dive bar but they get some great beers . Only 6 taps but they have a large cold case with lots of good beers and some limited stuff . Reasonable prices for a bar too . And they have stuff nobody else has . Last night they had BCBS - $16 , Bells 30th stout - $5.95 , Hardywood GBS and BGBS , Cafe Royale , Bon-chien and other sours among others . So if I don't like what they have on tap there's always plenty good of CANs and bottles available .

Rarely, the closer you got to Philly you picked up Schmittys and Ortliebs. Sometimes in Trenton you'd pick up some Piels or the like, but we mostly hit the Trenton bars, much much closer. Surprisingly Schaefer who as the preferred beer of guys over 50 in the day which were most of the bars in the Burg, Schaefer was 15 cents a glass, Bud was 20 cents. We drank mostly Bud, one bar in Chambersburg section made the best Burgers they had Heineken on tap, if we had extra money sometimes we'd start there.

For me, a big reason I go with draft over bottle is the price. Unless this bar could compete price-wise with its bottle-only setup, it's very unlikely that I would go there, instead preferring to get the bottles at said best bottle shops.

That said, if they had something stupid rare for a day, and enough of it that a trip there specifically for it isn't likely to be wasted by them running out in the first half hour, I'd probably go.

I guess I would feel like that's weird? I mean, maybe I'd still be down for it, but I almost always gloss over bottle lists. But if I know I can get something cheaper at a bottle shop, I'll do that. The joy of having a ton of taps is they will frequently let you do a flight or some tasters.
