After racking and using fining aids to speed up precipitation of suspensions, is there much more that can be achieved by further filtration with or without the use of filter aids such as DE or perlite?

(I am not talking about haze stabilization not about sterile filtration as an option to pasteurization)

Was just wondering how much more improvement in clarity and polish one could obtain after fining?

Another thing you could place in your 'tool kit' for increasing beer clarity is cold storage and patience. With time particulates will precipitate out of solution (and cold temperatures accelerates this process).

    Cheers!
