I hate to say it...but I'm with the poster here... am ready for a long autumn. Although this summer hasn't been bad at all up here in N.D. With that said, am not wishing for fall to be here just yet. It'll come fast enough. But yeah, this summers seasonal line up was meh...to say the least. I have a nice stash of beers that require much cooler temps to fully enjoy...so maybe that's why autumn seems so far away.

Personally, I haven't even begun to get my Summer Beer fix. Jeez, I haven't even had Summerfest yet...

I hate the Shandy bandwagon. hate those "Beers". Just hate them. Taking up valuable shelf space.

Let's stop talking about autumn; it's only July 15th! Autumn in my opinion doesn't really start until the last couple of days of September/first week of October. It's a sweltering 95-100 degrees every day in Utah right now and it most likely will be like this until about the second or third week of September...I can't really think about fall just yet. Summer beers are great!

Well, the Wegmans by me has about 50 cases of it just sitting around. Not exaggerating.

Looks like Founder's wont be sending NJ any nice things in the future then :grimacing:.

In all seriousness though, a reputable Iowa merchant told me that out-of-state Founder's markets have their KBS shares determined by how much Founder's "shelf beer" they sell. Not sure the validity behind that.. but anyway, wtf are those beers just doing sitting there, someone please drink them (I would if I wasn't a thousand miles away).

Well...you're HALF right. I love summer but continue to drink "winter" beers all year long. Stouts, old ales, scotch ales. It is absurd that I've already seen HUGE displays of pumpkin beers all over Philly this week:confused:

I get why they do it, but I don't like it.

I'm looking forward to trying the new SN Octoberfest.

So much this. I still have so much of the summer yet to enjoy....including the summer beers. Bring on more Festina Peche and Sly Fox Helles in the 360 can.

Unlike OP, I'm really enjoying the summer seasonals right now; there are a lot of really great lagers abound (Pils and Helles especially) as well as some fantastic summer ales. I've crushed quite a few SN Summerfest cans and Deschutes Twilight bottles thus far, and looking forward to more. Also, I think New Belgium's Summer Helles is a pretty damn good lager, very light and refreshing, and just fits hot summer days perfectly.

That being said... I'm really looking forward to checking out Sierra Nevada's fall seasonal variety pack. Apparently it will include a resurrected Tumbler Brown, an Oktoberfest, an a few others I can't recall. Maybe Flipside Red IPA or their porter or stout? Either way, I'm stoked.

I know FBS sells just fine overall here, including a few 4 packs to me, but for some reason that one Wegmans has a shit ton of it. I would get more but I haven't been in the mood recenlty.

Yeah in due time, keep summer rolling! But can't wait for Sierra Nevada variety back!

You know it is actually a beer by Southern Tier, right? Not just a misspelling. http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/3818/38394/

They just released this beer recently (super early for most people's taste, obviously). That's why its getting all the attention.
