I brewed a batch of wort (wort only) and it came out to a SG of 1.035. I am canning this wort to be used for starter's. My question, is the Gravity of 1.035 enough for the starter? Every thing I been reading said's it should be around 1.040.

1.035 is fine. Some use 1.030 or lower starter wort.

1.030-1.040 is your bread and butter.

Great, got 7 quarts canned at 1.035. That should be good for 7 batches of beer or at least until May.
