I cooked a home recepie with the hops inside and unfiltered. I waited a week, and this how it looks now from above: Is it? Or infected? What do you think? Also this is what comes out from the fauset it looks very cloudy: do you think that I should wait another before bottling? Thanks in advance.
Hey @LiorKx2, I'm guessing that English isn't your first language, so folks may ask for more clarification, and you may not fully understand some of our advice. Don't worry, you're doing great. Nothing looks out of sorts with your pictures. The first is probably just a bit of a yeast raft, and the second looks like you pulled a lot of yeast that settled to the bottom. You should be ok. Things we may need to know to give you advice are recipe, procedure, and your cleaning and sanitation regiment. So far as when it's ok to bottle, that is dependent on whether or not fermentation has completed. A good rule of thumb for most yeasts is when you have stable hydrometer readings 3 days apart. A thing that could help you in the future would be to read How to Brew by Palmer. There is a free, earlier version online, but you can purchase a more updated version. As far as I know, it's all in English, though.
Ya it’s perfectly fine, drain off the turd cloudy shit until it runs nice then package. Close the lid unless you like oxygen in your beer and infection.
