I let a buddy of mine borrow one of my plastic fermenters for a Belgian Tripel that he was attempting to brew. His batch ended up spoiling, and was sitting in my fermenter for around 4 months. The inside is obviously stained a little, but nothing else seems to be wrong with it. I assume it's ok to use again, and this may be silly of me to ask, but I wanted to ensure that after I clean it out and sanitized it as best as I can, it would be able to be used again in the future. Close, when sanitizing is not good enough...soak and clean with PBW overnight and then sanitize with bleach thoroughly...piece of cake as long as your buddy didn't scratch it too much.
