is peruvian morning hard to get?

It hasn't hit wide distro outside of Wisconsin yet. For those not in state, the only way to get this year's release would have been at the Anniversary Party last Saturday or getting lucky at a store in the state. You should have much better luck within the next couple weeks.

 

It hasn't even been released everywhere....to be honest, wait a week or 2 for it to get fully distributed.

Speaking for Chicago, last year it was not hard to get. It was possible to buy cases of PM over the course of weeks. This year, PM has not yet reached our shelves. I suggest waiting until PM is distributed at large. If you keep an eye on this forum, you'll eventually find posts of PM sightings around town. I'm not sure how soon we'll starting seeing PM in Chicago.

Well in Milwaukee it shouldnt be. The store I work at has about 10 cases of it and 10 of the barley wine.

 

As stated above. Not too hard here in Wisconsin as I picked up a case and some. It might make its way to MN but that would be about it.

Yep, 4 packs, I'm guessing we'll sell singles of it too just for people to try.

 

And because a fair quantity of last year's batch was "off," there's not a whole lot of that vintage to trade for.

 

Pretty easy to find it in WI at the right stores

 

I picked up a 4 pack in the north suburbs of chicago yesterday. It should be showing up. Haven't seen the barley wine.

 

This is the first Chicago sighting I've heard of, where did you find it?

They need to Barrel Age some of this stuff. I'd love to get "Peruvian Morning Wood"

 

It is barrel aged.

 

And I personally feel like the extra six months has helped to develop more complex flavors in this beer. The mouthfeel is outstanding this year.

 

Haven't opened any of the Peruvian Morning yet, but that's how I feel about the BBS. Probably gonna crack one open after I eat lunch.
