In the Boston area, one new brewery (Jack's Abby) only makes lagers. Another new brewery (Mystic) launched with a few different saisons. There's a brewery launching soon whose first beer and flagship is a Biere de Champagne (Enlightenment). Pretty Things finally released an IPA, but they've made so many more historical english styles (the latest being the X Year Milds).

So at least in Boston, variety is king.

Personally, I'd like to see more Milds and Bitters brewed AND available in my market.

I think that you have drawn a conclusion based on a narrow set of highly visible cases. I imagine if you were to investigate this further, you would draw a dramatically different conclusion (though perhaps I am wrong).

    There's a movement?

But yeah, what everyone else said. You're not looking hard enough. Or at all.

Acbf was overcrowded with saisons and sour beers this year.
    Wanna try again OP?
