Seems to me it's usually out by now. Stone's website is no help, it still has the 2017 release listed (not even last year's!)

There sure is. I just grabbed a 6 pack of 12 ounce cans. Been out for about a week or so in the New England area.

Yeah, so much for the helpful suggestion of looking at a brewery's website. Too many times, of little to no help.

Yep got some over in the Michigan area.

Last year was the 1st time in 6pk format I'm pretty sure...
This year again same 6pk format but cans instead of bottles.

Picked up a 6 pack of cans two weeks ago on PA. A six pack retails for a little more then $20 which is not bad compared to the old bomber prices.

Ouch. Typical price is about $17.99
Found a place that has em $14.99
    Big bottles usually $9.99 - $12.99

Never seen this in the wild, but a buddy & myself made a "clone" of this years ago. I put clone in parenthesis because we were supposed to soak oak chips in bourbon, but used Sailor Jerry spiced rum instead. Turned out great, as I recall. Would love to sample the real deal.

Pennsylvania beer prices are similar to NYC prices. I mean we pay about $40 a case for Sierra Nevada pale ale after taxes.

Hmmm, closest to me is 45 miles, so maybe it's not coming to my area this year if it really came out almost a month ago as they claim.

I loved the 2017 release (my first one). Last year I thought the flavor wasn't nearly as complex. Is this year's the same as last year's (the ABV is the same, lower than 2017) or does it vary every year?

According to Stone's website 18 was when it dropped from 13 down to 11.5abv. 17 is also the year they started saying "25% aged in barrels". Not sure what the blends are for previous years but IMHO 17 and 18 were no where near as good as 15 and 16.

25% barrel-aged is enough bourbon for me. What I thought to be diminished last year was the pecan. It was there, but not in your face like it used to be.

Bombers and six packs are available. Unfortunately this year’s edition was not very good to my palate. Struggled to finish a bomber. Tasted thin and muted.

I thought that 2017 was much superior to 2018.

It doesn't seem to be selling too well in my area and I have been finding them in the regular mix a six sections, I will probably pick one up at some point if I keep seeing it.

Had a can yesterday and thought it was fantastic! Really rich and robust -- far from "thin and muted."
