Hey everyone. Might need a mod to answer this but I might need to cancel a trade that has been accepted. I set up a trade to send b2 of a certain beer to another trader for b12 of the same beer. After we set it up and were getting ready to ship, the other trader realized they actually had b11 not b12. This matters because each batch uses different aging and adjuncts. They have been trying to find a b12 to trade but i feel bad that they are working that hard for what i believe is just an honest mistake. If possible i would like to cancel the trade so they dont have to keep looking, they dont get negative feedback, and i can try trading my beer again. Anyone have any thoughts?

My recollection is that, in the past, mods have explained that “feedback not left” causes a small decrease of one’s “trade health percentage.” I’ve seen this happen before, I think? Or maybe I misunderstood? You seem to be implying that it’ll simply be purged with no negative repercussions?

This only occurs if one party leaves feedback and the other doesn't. If both parties leave no feedback, the trade will be purged after 60 days with no negative impact.

Cool, that makes sense. Thanks for clarifying.
