Now that all articles are on the homepage of this site, is there any reason to continue to subscribe to the print edition?

is that their main source of income?
if that was the answer i would subscribe just for that.
i assume the advertising handles that, plus i doubt the bros ever pay for beer....
ok maybe at ball games but whatever

I like a magazine over reading on some device to be honest. Also like to have the magazine to refer back to for certain things like I did with planning my New England trip in June. I know I could search for the info here on the website but I find a physical article easier and more appealing overall.

My subscription has run out and I'm debating weather or not I need to re-up. Since everything is on this site, I like the idea of magazine only content to get people subscribing. I may still subscribe tho, I like reading off paper over screens.

I'm not the smartest when it comes to browsing, and I don't have a subscription, but I don't think everything that is in the magazine is posted online. Don't they still do beer reviews in the magazine?

I do find it quicker to search older stuff with a hard copy.
& then lend it. Have had occasion to do that, for someone traveling, & on a couple of occasions, the ads for books.

& also the cover of the Appalachin Trail one. Had watched a video about something in ancient Greece, then shared it with a rl contact. There was a freize, c. 3000 bc, of 2 women and a baby reaching from the one holding it, back to the mother. Then I went to the PO, look at my copy of BA Mag., & the mom is on the cover sipping a beer. lol 5000 years apart, & I see their virtually identical faces minutes apart. Of course, I just had to share the magazine too. Meant to show it here somewhere, but I couldn't find the vid again.

They make for good reading in "the reading room", er, the loo..You could take your craptop, er, laptop, but it might be a touch cumbersome considering.

Why subscribe to print when the magazine content is online?

Great question, and here are some great reasons:
    1. You’d like to support BeerAdvocate.
    2. You’re looking for the feel of a print magazine and a layout that offers more for the eye; from better readability to more photos.
    3. You prefer your reading materials to be free from an Internet connection and power source; truly mobile.
    4. You’d like to get our monthly content first, instead of waiting for it to be posted online.

I really enjoy the print version. The ads are cool and there is content in the magazine not found online. And as @Todd just stated, I can take it anywhere with unfettered access.

We stagger publishing content online. So unless you're receiving your mag at the very end of the month, you're not going to see all of the content online before print.
