I know this is hard to discern from a picture, but let me give you the facts.

I decided to use the Mr Beer kit my fiance bought me to experiment. I've never brewed before, and didn't feel like making a Blonde Ale that came with the kit, so after I did boil process I added the dregs from the bottom of an Jester King Uberkind bottle. I also let it sit out in the back porch for a while to pick up anything and everything in the air. Then I sealed it up and let it sit for a month.

Here's a picture. Some of the balloon things looked fuzzy a few weeks ago.

What do you guys think? I kinda want to try it, but I also don't want to die.

    Thanks in advance.

A Mr. Beer Wild/Sour. Now I've seen everything. To answer your question, it is very unlikely to kill you.

    Should I pasteurize it?

Absolutely not. Try some bottled and try some again bottled in 6 months. It's a requirement, and no it won't hurt you.

Looks delicious! Definitely don't pasturize that liquid gold... Enjoy every last drop of your brilliant brew!

I'm certain that after you try your first bottle, you'll know for sure whether or not she's a keeper... My bet is that you are going to be well-pleased with the sour-funk produced from your pride 'n joy. :grinning: If not, live 'n learn...

Bad Karma man... That would be like me giving a "friend" a Corona that's been sitting out in my garage for the last 5 years in 110+ heat, below freezing temps, and sitting next to a window in a clear bottle.

Don't break the "bro code"... :sunglasses:
