Is Victory Ranch a beer by itself?

I thought Victory Ranch was a single hop series (and their website kinda suggests that, too) and there are some listings on BA for "Ranch (Centennial)" and whatever.

But there's also this entry. Is this correct - is there a "Victory Ranch" without hops specified?

Asking because there's a tap head at my local that says Victory Ranch DIPA, but the barmen don't seem to know much more...

The biggest issue I see is that there are reviews there for Hop Ranch, which is not that beer. I can see why people are getting confused though.

I've seen bars sell "Ranch" on tap with no specified hop(s). I'm not sure if that was just an oversight on the part of the bars, or if Victory was selling one simply as "Ranch."

There were a handful of Ranch Variations.

Ranch, Ranch S, Ranch R, Hop Ranch, and possibly some single hop variations.

That's just it - is/was there a "Ranch" beer or should I assume this is Hop Ranch?

To confuse things further, the font on the tap head matches Hop Ranch, not the logo shown here, but it still says just "Ranch".

So if Hop Ranch may or may not = "Hop Ranch," what are we to think of Hop Ticket??

All good here, though: Victory, keep producing quality IPA/DIPA's and you can call them whatever the heck you want!!:grinning::sunglasses:

    No argument there.

But I'm curious to taste the new Azacca hops, so if I'm drinking them in Hop Ranch, I'd like to know it.

There was one called Ranch. They made several varieties of it. I used to see some bars sell it simply as "Ranch." Normally I'd tell you to ask the people at the bar, but you already stated that they aren't sure.

I would think at this point the 'Ranch' experiments as described nicely by @FatBoyGotSwagger are concluded, so what you're seeing on tap as "Victory Ranch" should indeed be the actual Hop Ranch release that culminated from that tweaking... guess it is hard to guarantee though. Although, if they are the experimental varieties, they are pretty damn old by now!
