For the first time I have even noticed, Westvleteren is doubling the amount of appointments for beer pick-up. Check out the current schedule, they have pick-up times in the morning and afternoon all week. Are they increasing production and sales or does this happen occasionally and I just haven't noticed?
They've increased production in recent years; my understanding from news reports at that time was that it aimed at funding a new building. Not sure of amounts or whether any recent spike. I think this is why it now reliably shows up in the gray market as well as the few approved outlets.
