    Hi gang,

I’m looking to get two Very Green for my buddies wedding next weekend. It’s his favorite TH beer. I’ve got a 2016 BA TenFidy to trade. I've also got a Trillium Outside the Lines, BA Stout Trooper from New England Brewing, and a couple of different Grimm Sours. I live near Milford, CT, but would be willing to ship. Hit me up if we could make this happen! It would be beyond appreciated. Check my ratings. I’m a great trader!

    Cheers,
    Jimmy

Is this the BA Ten Fidy that got national distro or a special variant?

I’m not sure, to be honest. I know in CT this was the first time o saw the BA version. It’s fire.

If you got it at a store, and/or you’re sure not Java or there’s an indication it’s a special barrel, it’s probably just the regular. Sorry to say that got national distro.

Bummer. Any interest in Outside the Lines by trillium?

You're going to need something pretty special and limited to score Very Green cans. If you look through the trade forum, every 4 out of 5 threads has ISO Very green and people are offering some rare beers. Good luck.

For a beer that's not even that much better than Green.. It's insane.. People on FB throwing Vanilla Rye around and no one biting.. It's comical

It's to do with 'rarity' of VG. It gets canned once, maybe twice a year. This particular release was during -20F temperatures where people had to wait 45min-1hr outside. No one that got VG will be giving them away for anything but exactly what they are looking for with the kind of effort and suffering that it took to get it.

Truth be told, I prefer Green. I’ve had every batch of VG for the past two years and did a side by side. Green was my favorite. It’s mg buddies wedding and his favorite treehouse beer. I am honestly just looking for one can to surprise him. Hopefully someone will come through.

Don't forget the gas money they spent to get there!

I mean, people can use whatever reason they want not to give up their beer for what others think is fair. Ultimately, if you want the beer you're going to have to give up what they want. No one is going to be doing you a favor. Don't want to trade for it or feel is fair what they're asking for? Fine,... fly out there and wait.

The trade offers are comical as @KBlodorn has said. But I agree with @eppie82 that VG is a rarer TH can but allotments were way more than last release and it was released a second day as well. As much as I hate secondary, just buy a few cans. They are going for around ~$20 per can. It sucks that beer has come to this but imho it's better than over trading a BA stout for IPA cans. Just my 2 cents.
