ISO Assassin 13 Ft List

I think you'll need to add significantly to pry out a 13. There cannot be many left.

 

Probably would need an anchor like BBT B1, BVC, BA Coco plus Assassin 19 & Barrel Slayer 3:1. Not even sure that would do it

I offered up SR-71 b2 not too long ago for ‘13 assassin and got crickets. I think the hardest part is just finding someone with a bottle

 

So I'll admit I do have one. And as this post suggested, I wouldn't let it go even with a bbt b1 anchor honestly. It's essentially a white whale at this point

 

Out of curiosity, I figure you’ve had it before, so with a bottle like that when do you plan on drinking it or are you holding out for something that might entice you enough to trade it?

If you haven’t had it, what are you waiting for?

 

At this point, I'd probably only trade it for a bourbon. As to when I'd drink it... it would have to be at my wedding or something like that. It's hard to pull the trigger haha

 

I had the same plan. Got married a couple weeks ago and made it through a handful of beers including my 14 Assassin and never made it to 13. Hope it is as good as the gold wax. May have to be an anniversary beer but don't think I should hold onto it much longer.

 

I have heard a few people say that 13 is "past its prime". I guarantee that anyone saying that has a bottle that has been shipped all over the place. I have been drinking 2012 BCBS a few times this year and it is still absolutely amazing. I have no doubt that a well stored 2013 Assassin is still amazing. Heck, people still rave about 2010 Rare (those that were well stored anyways)
