Moksa (Member) Exorbitance:
This is the first exclusive beer for the 2019 Moksa Memberhood. We started with an Imperial Stout and treated it with elevated levels of Mexican Vanilla Beans, House Toasted Almonds, Nicaraguan Cacao Nibs, and Brazilian Mostra Coffee. It tastes like a chocolate almond cookie and is not like any other beer we have ever created.

Moksa x Toppling Goliath Cremeux:
Brewed with Toppling Goliath from Decorah, Iowa we decided to combine our Imperial Stout recipes and showcase one additional ingredient from one specific region. After an extensive boil this monster was the highest gravity wort we have produced out of our brewhouse. The result was a sweeter full blown Pastry Stout. After fermentation we decided to showcase Mexican vanilla beans from the Vera Cruz region. These beans lend sort of a creamy marshmallow flavor to the beer having us think of the chocolate crémeux dessert.

Moksa (Member) Immoderation :
This is the 2nd Memberhood beer for 2018 sold only to our faithful membership. For this beer we wanted to push our limits and see how far we can take our American Ale yeast strain. With the addition of some house made caramelized sugar as we as buckets of organic Vermont maple syrup we were able to get the beer up to 17.0% ABV. After fermentation we added raw coconut, real vanilla beans, and Brazilian coffee roasted by Mostra Coffee. All of these components were added without moderation and with the intention to equally shine in the finished product. Aromas and flavors of coconut and coffee hit you first followed by a dose of maple syrup coating your palate all while the vanilla lingers in the background from start to finish.
