    Hey All -

I am looking to bottle a batch of homebrew in 375ml cork & caged bottles (i.e., the kind like Drie Fonteinen, Girardin, etc.). Does anybody save these bottles and would be looking to trade them for some beer from California? I live in San Francisco and can get pretty much anything available around here (Russian River, Almanac, etc.) for the empty bottles if you'd like to trade. Let me know!

    Cheers,
    Trey

I just save all the ones I drink. The Allagash brown 375 bottles are my favorites.

Don't blame you. Beautiful package. I drink a lot of cork topped bottles now just to get some empties for sour beer.

I have tried to fill wine bottles with the (bevel??) at the bottom. It's a PITA to try to get the wand tip to retract. Any good ideas for filling these if you do get them?

I just use a racking cane with a 45 degree angle cut at the bottom no filler tip. A clamp on the line works to shut off flow when needed.
