I thought I remember seeing some old threads discussing Summit distributing in old wood or reenforced cardboard cases. Am I crazy? Can anybody shed some light on this for me? I would love to purchase or trade for this if anybody is interested.

    Thanks

I used to work for a distributor in the summer during my college years that distributed Summit when Summit first came on the scene and seem to remember a bit of a different type of 12 pack. More of a reinforced type of cardboard. I think Page used the same thing. I do not remember any true cases like the returnables used to come in...

On a side not I remember trying Summit EPA back in about '88 or so close to when it first came out and thinking..wow this sounds good...taking one taste and thinking wow is this some nasty tasting shit...of course I hadn't had anything more exotic than Moosehead at the time and was weaned on Miller High Life throughout college so it was a big change...flash forward 25 years and my thoughts have changed..
