Ok I'll throw a BC one!

Doan's Craft Brewing in Vancouver, BC (http://doanscraftbrewing.com/) - Just won the Rookie of the Year Award in the BC Beer Awards, Best Stout in BC Award as well (http://bcbeerawards.com/the-winners-2/) and is a cool story of some home brewing brothers who finally opened up shop in a building that used to be Powell Street Brewery's spot. They make excellent beer and have shown some good creativity and cool design for a brand new brewery located in the East Van (or Yeast Van) district of Vancouver. Feel free to use the pic below too.

    Mikerphone Brewing

Brewing great examples of several styles and the product name concepts are just great. Brewer named mike, mikerphone brewing, music themed beer titles. Examples: Smells Like Bean Spirit, Drops of Juniper, & Vinyl Frontier

Another bump for Deviate in Indy – outstanding (and very wide range of) selections for being a brand new brewery. They are definitely brewing for the established craft beer geek.

I will happily third Deviate in Indy. There is a ton of buzz about that brewery statewide.

I'll second Ocelot in Sterling, VA. They're by far the best brewery in NOVA, and their hoppy stuff is consistently excellent.

I also vote Kent Falls, and not because the brewmaster is a friend of mine. They are making exceptional beers now, and considering the access to barrels they have, and Derek Dellinger's bug farm and skill set, the best is certainly yet to come.

I'll nominate Wooden Robot in Charlotte, NC. Hitting home-runs right out of the gate. The nail the traditional styles, as well as some unique brews like a coffee blonde. Excellent all around.

Really, BA sitemasters? A comment of mine was deleted because it was deemed irrelevant that I questioned whether a new brewery has any of their beers available in bottles? Gimme a frickin' break.

Preyer Brewing in Greensboro, N.C. (600 Battleground Ave. 336-256-9450) makes great beer and is a really neat place in a newly vibrant part of the city. There is just so much great history surrounding this family that I will let you check it out. It is a great story and would be a good read. A small hint-Vicks VapoRub. They have done a beautiful job and the place has been warmly embraced.

They were definitely both open in 2014. Went to wedding in Portland in late September 2014, and tried to go to Allagash. Turned out to be the only day of the year they were closed. We were pleased to find these two spots right across the road from Allagash. We tried all of the beers at each place, and there were no clunkers in the bunch. Loved Portland!

I'll second Taft's Ale House. As of the first time I visited, that place vaulted right to the top of my personal quality list of local breweries in Cincinnati. Their 27 Pils is a work of liquid art, and their Maverick chocolate porter is exquisite.

If you're not a sticker for precision on your 2015 date, I'll nominate Territorial Brewing here in Battle Creek, Michigan, which is celebrating its first year anniversary today. They specialize in German-style beers (some may be a bit Americanized), as well as brewing some popular non-German styles. For being a new brewery, they produced great beers right from the git-go, and a bonus is that their system is small enough, and demand has been so good, that they are constantly rotating beers and introducing new ones. Their food menu also lists many German style food items, and do a very good job with all of it too. They had a booth at the GABF this year, but I have not talked with the owners yet to determine if they entered any of their beers in the competition. If they didn't, they should have do so.

Santa Clara Valley Brewing in San Jose, Ca. finally have their own brewery, opened earlier this year. They are making awesome beer of all kinds...fresh Electric Tower IPA is tough to beat! The brewer, Sexy Steve, has brewed award-winning beer for others and will soon be taking some of his own home soon!

I did not like Magnify at all and their ratings are average. Conclave Brewing in Hunterdon County, Nj consistently makes beer that is perfectly made for the style. Almost every beer Conclave makes is rated over a 4 on untappd and Magnify barely has any.
