ISO: Exceptional breweries that opened in 2020

    Planted Flag Brewing in NE Ohio deserves mention. They are doing some interesting things with traditional German styles, using Nordic Farmhouse yeasts instead of the traditional yeasts. And what they aren’t putting that Farmhouse spin on, they do very well too (including Pilseners and IPAs). Add to that a nice food menu... WOW! Plus, they are veteran, and family, owned and operated. Opened in March, a week before Ohio shut down for two months.

    2 new breweries close to where I live; Bravo Brewing Co. and the newly opened 67 Degrees Brewing, both places make it a point to sell about 50 % IPAs and 50 % other styles. Cheers.

    We went to Drowned Lands a few weeks ago & certainly enjoyed it. It's a beautiful layout with solid beer & food. I didn't hear about Tin Barn but will definitely check them out.

    You took the words right out of my mouth. I was going to post about the same two breweries.

    Third Moon is killing it with IPA offerings like no other right now.

    Reverence's barrel aged brews are unparreled right now. The style range that they're producing is incredibly diverse with a quality that describing as impressive wouldn't do justice!

    I still haven't made the trek to visit either but both are on my list to see.

    Pathlight Brewing in Shawnee, Kansas opened in June and has been pretty solid. Overall, beer on the Kansas side of Kansas City is light years ahead of where it was just five years ago.
