I was a big fan of the ISO:FT forums being post only.

You might have been the only one. Hard to have an economy without knowing a value.

Agreed. Keep it open- probably the source of the most problems in the forums but also the source of the most entertainment.

I'll vote for going back to post only. I hope/assume it'll be reimplemented soon enough

Open. Like it or not, this is a market. A market doesn't run well behind closed doors.

We'll see how it goes. There are TONS of mod tools to eventually restrict access if need be, however we'll give the group a chance to show us that posting replies should be allowed again.

I like this second chance. The feedback on trade offers is useful as long as it isn't just flaming and trolling.

I give it two weeks at most before the Bros are forced to go back to post only.

I agree to keep it open. Will be interested to see how long it stays open.

Given that the problem with allowing replies was the time it took to moderate and that there are now better tools for moderation (as Todd says above) it seems reasonable to expect that it will remain as is for a while, unless we really are just a bunch of shit-flinging monkeys and create THAT much of a headache.

Anyway, I liked it better with replies, so I'm glad they're provisionally back. Maybe the Bros can give the ability to lock posts in only ISO:FT (based on my experience with PHPBB that seems like it should be totally doable).

Here's another vote for open. Love replies, and I think the ISO/FT forums got a bit unstable without them.

I'd prefer to hand over the moderation to a handful of core traders (or something similar) rather than us having to babysit again.

Jason- that would certainly seem to be a good idea. History suggests that it might not be enough, but hey, who knows.

FINALLY you're going to listen and hand over some moderation. In my opinion, this is what should be done, rather than to limit the forum in itself. Oh happy day.
