Keep getting drips and drabs of info on Georgia Breweries. Does anyone have any info/updates on, (including distributions):

    Reformation - Ball Ground
Grumpy Old Men - Blue Ridge
    Blackpowder - Glennville
    Macon Beer Co. - Macon
    Creature Comforts - Athens
    Eagle Creek - Statesboro

    Any others?

    Many thanks.

Creature Comforts is not open yet. Plenty of info about their schedule online, they're still doing the buildout.

Reformation has been in the works for a while, never really see any updates from them.

Reformation has relocated to Woodstock. They're now through the licensing process and producing small batches commercially -- should be available in Cherokee County establishments within a month -- full distribution of their brews across the state is a few months away.

Actually Check out Burnt Hickory (already opened) and Orpheus Brewing (opending Spring 2014). They are doing great things.

Thanks. I went to an open house for Burnt Hickory last year, but I was the designated driver, so I had to greatly restrict my intake. In fact, I didn't even get to try Noggin Knocker. :slight_frown:

Is Orpheus going to be in Atlanta?

Yes, Jason has picked out a spot near the Beltline close to O4W I think. I read an update a few months back on FB about it.

We (Orpheus Brewing) start construction in 2 weeks. We're lucky that as far as breweries go, it's a relatively minor buildout. Our equipment (20 BBL brewhouse from Criveller) is almost ready to ship so we will have it as soon as we're ready, which should be around the beginning of February. We're aiming to start production before the end of March and be in the market around Atlanta by the end of April. We're launching with our year-round tart plum saison, Atalanta; our Spring Double IPA, Transmigration of Souls; followed shortly by a special release of our imperial stout, The 12th Labor. Our other year round beer, Lyric Ale, isn't being released until summer because I won't be able to get enough Galaxy hops until my contract for the coming harvest comes in.
