This blend is a tropical fruit funk bomb and was inspired by Appalachia. 2017 AWAS blend #2 Cherry + Red Raspberry Blended with equal parts, heavily fruited, barrel-aged wild ale w/ cherries, which was eventually blended to create Meemaw and heavily fruited, barrel-aged wild ale w/ red raspberries, which was eventually blended to create Razzmatazz Vol. 1. This blend was designed to pay homage to Hommage from Drie Fonteinen, which continues to be a source of inspiration to our wild beer exploration. 2017 AWAS blend #3 Blueberry + Hibiscus + Vanilla Blended from heavily fruited, barrel-aged wild ale w/ blueberries, which with the eventual addition of elderberries, became Need a Hug. We took a portion of the straight blueberry wild ale, extended the aging in wine barrels and added hibiscus and vanilla. This blend was inspired by the 2016 Zwanze blend from the incredible Cantillon.
