Buddy of mine wants to go out to play pool and drink beer for his birthday on Saturday.

Any good places to go that you guys can recommend in the Seattle / South Seattle / East Side area?

    Thanks!

It ain't pool, but the Flatstick Pubs have mini-golf and great taplists. Locations in SODO and Bellevue.

Pioneer Square and Kirkland, actually. You’ll be confused and lost if you go to SODO or Bellevue looking for a Flatstick Pub.

    Beer's not the best, but
they have pool, and "je ne sais
    quoi," at Eastlake Zoo.

Beveridge Place has a pool table if you're willing to go to West Seattle.

If you have the opportunity before Saturday, stop by and determine if it’s compatible with your buddy and you. The Zoo is a great dive, and they have the distinction of a snooker table in addition to regular billiards tables.
