Just out of curiosity what quantities were individual stores getting there for King Sue that you saw/heard? Likely will be somewhere between regular line up and King Sue since it's a rotating beer I'd assume.

 

Not exactly answering your question but here in Wisconsin places only got 1 case with a 1 can limit per person

 

Ya that's kind of what I thought. I mean the HyVee here in Des Moines that gets the largest allotment of TG only got 5-6 cases, so I was just curious what they were getting out there. Can't be more than their long time local Midwest stores I'd imagine, and if not that's just bs haha. I've just seen this claim that "they get distro out their now so trades are unlikely" and I can't believe the distro they receive is enough for the masses and seems kind of like a tactic to knock down trade value. Not accusing this specific poster of that intent, but just stating a general observation in other conversations I've seen. Just curious what they actually see out there for the limited beers.

 

again, perhaps not helpful, but in central IL (where i’m located - 4.25 hrs from TG) we don’t get jack shit and when we do it’s 2-3 months old. i’ve had to trade (& will continue to do so) with a good trader in IA just so i can get them fresh. maybe that’s a local distributor problem and not a TG problem but i would take fresh, guaranteed cans in a trade any day over flipping the dice and waiting to see what my local liquor store gets, if anything. and i’m trading rotating wilds and saisons not beers that get made every week.
