I need some help tracking down fresh flower power. Anywhere in north Jersey would be great. Every store I've looked, their freshest batch is like 8 months old.

8 months old? Something just isn't right about this. Isn't FP in such short supply that it cannot keep up with the high demand? Yes, is the only answer to this rhetorical question. Any store with 8 month old FP or any other IPA shouldn't be selling any FP or any other IPA.

Believe me its frustrating. I remember when I first saw shipments of like 6 cases. And I think I'm the only one who bought it. Same beer there.

Don't know about N Jersey but in S Jersey you can find it at White Horse Liquor in Absecon...

Nothing fresh in North Jersey right now. I'll post in here as soon as I see some at my store. We generally get it like a day and a half after bottling. Nash sells out of it quickly but gets it out super fresh as soon as they get any. Never sits in the warehouse.

I got some of the 7/6 batch at Wine Shoppe in Rutherford the week it came out.

I think they still have some, otherwise you shouldn't have to wait long for the next batch.

I feel like I'm constantly seeing FP on tap at the north jersey beer bars.

I've had it in the past at The Stirling Hotel, so you may want to inquire there. Have also seen it on websites for the Tap Room in Warren and George St. Ale House. Stirling's and Tap Rm's sites are kept up to date, Stirling's being done at times daily.

Running into the same issues 45 minutes from the brewery. Production has slowed way down with the impending move.

I always throw Flower Power in as extras in my trades, haven't seen a fresh bottle in Rochester in a few months though.

Which bottle shop do you work at? I'm in Albany a couple of times a year.

I grew up in Greece, live in Irondequoit. I went to school for a few years at Rensselaer (2000-2003) and still have friends in the area. I was just in Schenectady a few weeks ago, but only stopped at Oliver's.

Cool, same owners, I like our store better though. My girl has family in Gates. I like it there, but the beer scene doesnt seem to be any better.

The Wegmans in Gates has the best selection out of the local Wegmans. Bottleshops would be Beers of the World and Nathaniel Square (tiny - but great prices and gets most of the limited stuff) and my favorite stop Hegedorns (locally owned grocery store with an awesome beer guy). I was fairly impressed with the stuff I found on the shelf at Oliver's like 3F Oude Geuze and Cascade Kriek - I haven't seen anything from either brewery in a long time in Rochester. We don't get Captain Lawrence out here either. Next time I come through the area I'll have to stop at Westmere.

I just had a growler of it from Cloverleaf in West Caldwell and it was DEEE-LICOUS.

“Production has slowed way down with the impending move.” Do you happen to know when the Ithaca Brewery expansion will be complete? Do you know whether Flower Power will be a genuine regular beer once the expansion is complete?

    Cheers!

Saw 5 or 6 cases at Liquor Outlet in Boonton yesterday. Had a best before date of October.
