    You can go up the west side of Cayuga Lake on the wine trail (route 89) and hit Americana winery, which now has a Bacchus brewing tasting bar downstairs. Also a really good distillery (Myers), decent cider place, and a bunch of good wineries down the road. Fun day trip.

    Oh yeah and Hopshire is nice on the othe side of the lake.

    If you like sweet tasting IPA's. They have a few beers that are ok, but I wouldn't send anyone there.

    Ithaca Coffee tavern at Triphammer road mall has a great selection of taps and guest beer tastings Wednesday afternoons. Bar manager James is a beer wizard...
