It's Only Logical 8 - 50 States Edition

Back in late October I won part 7 of this LIF, hosted by roseym1331. At the time I was intending to start this shortly after returning from Darkness Day, but clearly I failed. The good news is, I still have that bottle set aside for the day I got around to finally doing this. I'll throw in some other goodies as well and try to hit some wants, as usual.

Please only participate in this LIF if you can start your own LIF in a more reasonable time frame than I did. Your LIF can be whatever type of competition you want it to be, the only rule you have to follow is players from your state and previous winner’s states are not eligible for the contest.

States NOT eligible are:
CA, MI, IL, NY, MN, PA, OH

Also like the original, I'm going to limit it to the contiguous 48 states

We'll stick to my Logical LIF rules of one guess per hint and you must pay attention to (and heed) those hints or you may find yourself ineligible to win (don't be too afraid, there are 2 ways to get back in, which I will explain later).

I'll stick to the state theme and keep this somewhat about states. To win, answer the following questions:

1) I will be moving out of Ohio before the end of 2013...what state will I be a resident of?
2) I will be moving just in time to be hundreds of miles closer to one of my favorite beer events...name that event.
3) What was the best beer I got to taste at that event?
4) What was the 2nd best beer I got to taste at that event?
5) What brewery am I now obsessed with, since first tasting their beer at that event?
6) My best friend is moving around the same time and probably won't be able to attend the aforementioned event as a result...where is he moving, city & state?
