Tucked away in the mountains of Meshoppen, PA, there is a place where magic happens. Formerly(and currently still) a winery, the folks at Nimble Hill Brewery opened their doors a few years back and have been churning out NEPA's best brews since day 1. The awesome news is that they are finally starting to bottle most of their beers, and they will be available in bottle shops in the NEPA area very soon, which means no more trips to the brewery for growler fills. Of course, I will still go to the brewery for a growler fill, but if I need a "midnight fuggle" fix, it will be nice to just travel to a beer store instead of all the way to Meshoppen.
Folks, I'm not kidding here. Nimble Hill makes the best pilsener I have ever had(Nudder), one of the best porters I have ever had(Midnight Fuggle), a fantastic double IPA(Bonczek-which IS available in bottles now) and Turbo Diesel- a seasonal imperial stout aged in one of their port wine barrels. Get on board now!

I have had several of there beers both in bottle and on top, at best they are ok IMO. The fact that pushed me over the edge with the product is the combination of what I feel is a high price point for the beer and a pretentious attitude. Having spoken to several different unhelpful people I have all but abandoned this place. I would drive to Endless Brewing in Montrose, easy atmosphere, nice people, good beer.

It's hard to disagree with you, CS. The attitude, at times, leaves a lot to be desired. The last few times I was there, I spoke with a very friendly and helpful woman, so I think there is hope. As I stated, they are starting to distribute beyond the brewery(and beyond Krugel's). I'll bring some if we are able to get together in June for tasting, I think you will be surprised.
