I saw someone snag one of these at BGC and was like "WOA that's in the area" or really thinking "Woa that was in the area?!?!?!!?" much like Boltcutter, both of which I'll never have in my precious hands.
I'll bet Bolt Cutter isn't that hard to obtain in trade, even locally. Or, if you promised to bring something nice, I bet somebody would share a bottle with you. I'm really starting to fall in love with the local Ba community - turns out we're good peeps!
ISO: Ivan the Terrible FT: seriously, I have a lot of beer. Current and vintage BCBS, last year's Town Hall Czar Jack, Abyss 10&11, etc...etc...etc...
AFter hearing at BGC how many folks had I'd love to share one with someone. I have plenty of random crap from the south and west coast. Like FW XIV and XV, Parabola '11 and '12, Abacus and sucaba, Sweetwater various limited releases, 2 Turtle Doves, uh should have a FW XVI soon and I think more Sucaba coming if my friend ever ships that box she's had packed for like 6 months now... That doesn't include other various goodies I got from here locally, but I think a BW tasting would be awesome, probably could only do like 2 or 3 of them until I'm on the floor drooling but eh. Maybe my buddy who threw down a 2007 Imperial Gonzo Porter at my Kate the Great tasting I did in March has this or Ivan... (BTW IGP ages sooooooooooooooooooooooo well, the hops drop off somewhat and it drinks like an incredible mix of a Barleywine/Porter wow it was damn good with 5 years under its belt).
So has Ivan already come and gone? Seems like only a few spots got it. I am big fan and if anyone has one to trade I have some fresh Pure Hoppiness I can put up or plenty of other possibly interesting stuff.
