You just need a WifeSlave to support so you can send her out for fills on a whim.

"Yo WifeSlave, pack up our litter of brats and drive out to the brewery and get me some damn beer woman!"

Then you go home after a hard day a work, spank all the children for being brats and send them to bed. Wifeslave makes you dinner and you crack open a growler or 2 and watch mindless brain rotting reality shows.

This actually happens, just toned down a bit with the request and no spanking....

 

Children need to fear the Father. This is why so many are screwed up little assholes, they don't fear adults.

I had a college roommate who used to say "Children need a spanking everyday, and twice on their birthday and Christmas." I agree with him more and more.

 

I do the same after every sip I have of Hoppy Birthday. I come here and talk. See the thing is though I should not. I need to start telling people how Hoppy Birthday is just that bad before they get their hands on it so they dont go get it and leave all of it for me to consume

 

Is this based on your experience with it or did someone from Alpine give you this info?

 

The email from Alpine, I think, said they were sending some up that way.

 

The kegs were dropped off in SF this weekend, not sure when they go on tap. Also, Keene Idea has some Citra sprinkled in the late additions and dry hop. It's not just Nelson hops. Might be why everyone likes it so much. It's certainly an incredible Double IPA.

 

there's some riwaka in there too.

 

Tonight's Solstice Party seems like a likely candidate for tapping...

 

Great beer, though it doesn't taste like the same beer as what they called T25 in August. I still loved it and wish it were a Friday night so I could have had more.

Thanks a lot. Really, thanks a lot. I was hoping it would hang around until lunch tomorrow, but I guess that ship has sailed.

 

That's where I was enjoying it earlier.

 

I got one yesterday right when he put it on the board (may have been the first; hard to say). I'm not very well schooled in IPAness nor am I an Alpine junkie, but this was one of the best tasting IPAs that I've consumed. I can see why people like it.

I'm not seeing the Nelson likeness, though - to my palate they aren't even remotely close. The "peppery" taste is far more subdued in the Keene Idea, to me.

 

You'd think it would've been, but in the few hours I was there last evening, didn't see a sign of it. (Suppose they could've tapped it later last night, though. Did anyone who stayed late see any?)

 

I didn't make it over, but I've heard nothing. Hmm.

 

Still on @ O'Briens today for the power lunch crew. Seems more like an amped up Sculpin to me than say a double Nelson.
I didn't get to try T25 to compare but this is effen delicious!
