Grabbed a few bottles with my GA tickets. 1st time attending. Will see how it goes. Do wish the bottle lineup came with a description though.

 

Managed to snag the 4 Big Poppa variants with my GA...pretty happy with myself today :-)

 

I had 4 in my cart but the accidentally closed out the page since I was on my phone... still managed all the ones besides the vanilla extract barrel though

Looks like everything is still available minus Thrilla in Manilla (Vanilla BA) and Label Us Notorious (AB)

Question for anyone who has been to Wakefest previously: are there typically fringe events (as in TBBW is to Huna day) the day before/after Wakefest? Thinking of going next year and just curious if there's any other interesting events around the festival itself.

 

3 Sons Lumberjack Day is on that Sunday I believe. It was extremely pricey last year though so just keep that in mind.

"Tickets will be $140 and as a part of your package, you will receive a bottle of Lumberjack Morning Break, a commemorative glass, and great food as well."

I went to get food with an hour left in my session and they weren't taking orders for pizza anymore lol. So I lost out on the food part, but even so, still a lot of money without considering food.

 

I think their business model was based off the “secondary” sales of their home brews. It’s the most expensive brewery to drink and eat at in my experience.

 

yeah the lineup was really good and the pours were included. A lot of the same breweries as wakefest but different beers, and much smaller. Some rarer stuff too

 

Pours were good but I noticed a lot of the 3 sons stuff kicked very early. I don't know. It felt pretty rushed IMO. However, I'm sure it will be better now that they've been open for a while. If the price is still that high, I'm not gonna go though.

 

Have they said it will be the day after Wakefest again? Seems like a weird time to hold an event like this. I haven't found anything for this year. Going to Wakefest and had the same question as far as events going on that weekend. Also interested if there are any shares going on the Friday before.

Day after Wakefest again this year.

 

$140 for unlimited pours and food and a bottle. Is that correct?

Asking honestly for everyone...are there other festival out there that offer this for cheaper?
