First timer at Wakefest, anyone have any experience with the VIP taps from previous years? Cant seem to find a list anywhere of what was offered within VIP only

 

Off memory. White Gold Bake, IWAAD b3, Blu Blu, Blu Coco.

 

and the year before that was:

Gunmetal bake, tape rock, antique blue, antique coco

There was more but those stand out in my memory

That is one hell of an upgrade.

 

Are there any bars close to JWB that host/allow for bottle shares on Friday night?

Yep! Average brewery rating for the new brewers? 4.09. Average rating for the non-returning brewers? 3.84.

 

LOL...ya Drie Fonteinen tastes .25 points better than Ardent

 

I opened a few bottles at both in the nights leading up to WF last couple years. I made a point to include the bartenders, drank many of their draft pours, and tipped them well.

So it can be done, but not the best scenario to open some whales that you would like a boss pour off etc.

Festival was great. Left right when the rain got really bad. Showered up and headed to great tap list 3 sons just posted.

 

The JWB tap list was weak in both VIP and General, no wonder they never posted it :-)
