I got my money’s worth for GA in 3 hours. And I’m not a JW fan.

 

I saw this on FB this morning and had to take a double take. Way to set the secondary market and take advantage I guess lol

 

They actually posted the GA tap list.

 

I am wondering who got 24k gold bottle.
Was it included in VIP bottles?

Although everyone who won a bottle probably sold it on the spot.

 

Saw that they were doing DFPF and Haterade release for order delivery/pickup yesterday and figured may as well see if I can order online to try and get them as I am never gonna wait in line or make it in time to swing by the brewery on a weekday for pre-order. The Stouts they are releasing sound good as well. I just hope it's not a nightmare all of saturday to pick up curb side.

 

So did you get bottles ordered?

 

Yeah i got a bottle of one of the stouts, 2 DFPF and one 4 pack haterade. It sold out very quick though. I wanted to see if I could change the order maybe an hour later, maybe less then that, and they had already sold out. They have been posting bottle/can releases on their Instagram here and there but it sells out quick for the hard to get stuff

 

It's very anti-climactic to order the bottles online and pick them up leisurely over a 4 day span :-) wondering what JWB will do when the pandemic fog clears...I miss missioning across county lines to secure a wristband or dare I say line up at 5a in lovely Wynwood Estates....

 

It would be awesome if they kept this style of ordering for releases. They said they were going to cancel all orders for people doing multiple orders under the same name, how effective it was compared to say when they do their wristband releases I don't know. Have not tried DFPF or Stout Clout yet, but Haterade is very tasty. Wish I had gotten an extra four pack of that.

 

I picked up That's No Moon. It was not great. Flavor was flat and body was lacking. Seems like Stout Clout is pretty solid based on reviews.

 

Never had Haterade before, liking it a lot. Checked their instagram around 12:15 PM today and saw a post that Troll So Hard cans were going on sale at 12, and they had updated post that it was already sold out.

I just opened a 2018 Label Us Notorious and it has zero carbonation. Taste is spot. Does this beer typically have no carbonation? I tried to look at untapped but couldn’t find the 2018 vintage so I figured I would ask here. I checked the cap and no signs of a leak or any issues.

 

I saw quite a few reviews on untappd saying no carb for Wakefield stouts so it could happen.

 

they just did another release of a few bottles and cans yesterday, majority of it still available per the website. Troll So Hard also back in stock. The Other Half Stout collab sounded interesting as did a few of the IPA cans.

 

You’re right. Mine was a 2019. I looked at the seal and didn’t notice anything odd. I was surprised by how good it tasted with no carbonation. Lol.
