Since all bottles have to be picked up in the tasting room, I doubt your address matters for that.

 

so...what if you are an out of stater who cannot attend the donor party? do you just lose out on the beer? can you transfer your party ticket to someone local to pick up the bottle and have fun at the party? i NEED details...

 

Someone I'm trusteeing for asked in an email and they said that your trustee can pick up the bottle. Not sure about the ticket, though..

 

hmmm...i just went to get 2 bottles and contributed $60, but the backer count only went down by 1. me thinks there is a flaw in the matrix.

 

i just sent an email to find out about the tally only increasing by 1 when I contributed $60 and also to find out about what happens to bottles for those who cannot attend the donor party.

 

Just created a BA account to answer a few questions for you guys.

1. The OG Membership is SOLD OUT. Please do not ask us or the JWB team to open any more spots. They are at capacity for this reward.

2. Payments will only be processed through Paypal at the end of the campaign. Right now if you went through the Paypal process correctly, you will have a pre-approved transaction, which means you have approved us to charge you in the future. Please make sure that when the campaign ends you have enough funds to cover your purchase, or else Paypal will invoice you and you may incur additional fees.

3. At this point in time, the Donor Party is for JWB campaign donors only. They understand that many of you are from out of state, but this party was designed as a Thank You to all of their campaign supporters, not a party with transferable tickets. They have opened up additional tickets for people to bring family and friends, or for people to donate at a smaller level. They may change their minds down the road, but for now this party will be for people who have donated to the campaign only.

4. JWB will hold both OG Membership beer and the Donor Party beer on site at their taproom for people/trustees to pick up. This will most likely be AFTER the Donor Party for people who will not be attending in person. Right now there is no set date to pick up by, but that could change in the future once production starts. Johnathan has agreed to hold beer for out of state people, and will work with everyone after the campaign to make sure both OG Membership beers and Donor Party beers are picked up by the correct people.

5. Our system is setup to only handle 1 reward per transaction at this time. If you are wanting to purchase multiple rewards, please do multiple transactions. For those who have already donated above a certain reward, we will process accordingly and make sure to update the levels to show your additional rewards.

curious if anyone shows any pre-approved transactions in paypal? i donated for both the OG membership and then a single shot of $60 for 2 extra donor party beers and as of writing this message i see no pre-approved payments for either of these. any recommended action to get these to show up in paypal?

also, to make sure i'm reading correctly...you will change the single transaction of $60 to represent 2 $30 transactions for each beer?

 

You can see your preapproved payments on Paypal under the "My Preapproved Payments" section. You can also get to it by clicking Profile > My Money > My Preapproved Payments > Preapproved Payment Plans.

Evan - We have you down for both rewards on our side. And yes, we have updated the rewards to reflect 2 $30 transactions so 2 beers have been held on the rewards side. We have updated this for anyone else who had done something similar.

 

Not really sure how it happened, but it appears there is one spot still open on the OG membership. Just thought I'd let folks know if you are still looking to get in.

Nope, didnt find out about it until this morning.

Really wish JWB would use that Twitter account of theirs, some of the OG backers dont/cant have FB accounts.

I'm sure there were some awesome brews to be had...

 

Had the Master Blaster on Saturday night. It was amazing. Perfectly brewed. Gonna drink the El Jefe after work. Will report back.

Yep! Had a total of 4 pours of it. It's fantastic!

 

Just bought a ticket to the donor party. About a day and half left to buy up whats left.

 

I wish we could find out the date before committing.

 

That's my dilemma as well....
