has anyone seen a deduction from paypal yet? i have not and i thought today was the day.

edit: looks like 2 hours left still...but i still don't see this listed as a preapproved payment. anyone know what the scoop is? i don't have the balance in my paypal to cover it, but do in my bank...i'm assuming this is all okay?

 

The only time I've ever had a paypal balance is when I've gotten a refund. It usually charges me out of my bank account and credit card.

 

typically me too, but when i made the purchase i think i selected paypal balance as the source without a backup by accident and noticed it as it was processing so i've been keeping an eye out to make sure everything goes through ok.

 

I think it automatically picks paypal balance if you have one and uses one of your other accounts as a backup source. That's how it's always worked for me at least.

 

I transferred $$ from my bank into my acct so I would have the balance to cover it. Don't want a snafu to screw me over.

 

They have started pulling money out of my acct $30 bucks every 5 minutes or so for the donor bottles.

 

Yeah I've had some taken out also. Everything but my OG.

 

Just an FYI. JW mentioned that the party will likely be sometime in May or June. For those on the fence.

 

I'd of went ahead and committed to the guest ticket and extra bottles but with no firm date or even a guesstimate I couldnt do it.

I'm hopeful that once a firm date is set that tickets and bottles go back up for pre-sale...

 

Not likely on either front. I will mention that recommendation to him, however, it will likely be that the extra tickets will be gifted or other. Maybe I can see if he can create a BPT offering just for OG's and other contributors.

 

This OG would love another chance at guest tickets or bottles once a date is set...

 

Still not been charged for my OG membership? Any cause for alarm?

 

No cause for alarm. I emailed CrowdBrewed this morning and got this message:

Sam,
Thank you for your email. Not to worry. Because of the large load PayPal has locked out the balance of payments until hopefully this morning. Since the people that perform the diligence don't work on weekends at PayPal we have only been able to charge 1/4th of all payments. Have no fear. All is good. The process usually takes up to a week after the close of a successful campaign. Problem with this was the size of the load (476 donors). Thanks for your patience.

I emailed Friday and got a similar response as Sam.

Just a few minutes ago it was processed -my receipt is in my inbox and i am an OG!

 

Ditto, got my email confirmation a few hours ago...

 

Well dang man, you should have told us it was coming!

 

Pretty amped about this one. Great beers and helping a guy fufill his dreams, what's not to like?
