J. Wakefield Brewing "Kickstarter"

I'm JWB OG so if any of you Tampa area folk need a trustee please let me know. God knows how freakin frequent I make the trip to Tampa from West Palm Beach (every 4-6 weeks) plus I come up to grab El Catador bottles quarterly anyway.

 

I know it is probably too early to know, but does anyone know where the party is going to be? I only ask because i'd like to go ahead a secure lodging, and it would help to know where to book it!

 

I might take you up on this. I probably can't make it there more than 1-2 times a year, sadly.

 

With all the breweries in the Tampa area, I don't know if I'd leave more than 1-2 times a year.

 

Ray, it is likely at the new brewery. I can check if you would like, but it is pretty far out to be making concrete plans (June?!?).

 

Lol, i was thinking of you when i posted this. I was going to email you the same. I also just realized, i can't book without a date.

I still have not been charged/received confirmation email yet.

Any cause to be concerned? Seemed like they had hoped to have it resolved by yesterday.

*edit. never mind. looks like they updated to say by Wednesday.

 

Travis at Crowdbrewed said it could take up to a week to sort everything out. I've been charged for everything except the OG membership. I keep checking my emails.

 

paypal froze my account b/c of crowdbrewed

 

Both of my transactions went through smoothly, Donor bottle and OG membership. Super excited, and wow 200+% of goal raised, way to go Wakefield.

Got a question, and figured I would check here first. In the receipt e-mail from crowdbrewed both of my e-mails say to click the "link" below to download "my files". However, there is no link, but there is a description in the e-mail. Just making sure I am not missing something, and this is how other folks receipts appear.

Looks like I will be going to Miami a lot more then I have in the past!

 

There was nothing for me to download either.

 

I asked them about this, and CrowdBrewed confirmed that there was no link sent in the email. So no worries. Not sure if they plan to send out another email though

 

You guys all worry too much. Don't you know the first rule of beerclub? Throw money blindly at the latest and greatest brewery. Who cares if it is even good or if they even make beer at all...

 

me too, i had to call up to get it lifted...but got an invoice, was able to pay it and now my account is unfrozen. can't wait for the beer!

 

I think that link is there in case the campaign wanted to upload a file like a letter or a picture for a specific reward. If they didn't then it's just nothingness.
