The tasting room will be open for business this Friday and Saturday only (soft opening). Enjoy yourself.

 

Yep, I'll be there. I wanted to hit the Lounge Friday night, maybe JWB will be open early enough so that I can do both. Gonna be a great weekend for sure.

 

The hours tomorrow are 3p-midnight and Saturday is noon to midnight.

 

if i came down tomorrow would i be able to buy a glass?

-SOFT OPENING UPDATE-

We are putting the finishing touches on the taproom and taste testing the beers as we speak in preparation for this weekend. Here are the details...

-Friday-

We will be opening at 4pm in the taproom with the following beers available to purchase:
- El Jefe Hefeweizen
- Union Jack Porter
- Hop For Teacher IPA
- STUSH (Basic Berlinerweisse)
- Coffee Porter (5pm)
- Gingersnap Porter (5pm)
- Hibiscus Hefeweizen (6pm)
- Peach IPA (6pm)
- Hazelnut Coffee Imperial Sweet Stout (7pm)
- Yellow Dragon Tea Berliner (7pm)
- Blue Raspberry Jolly Rancher Berliner (7pm)

-Saturday-

We will be opening at 12pm in the taproom with the following beers available to purchase:
-- El Jefe Hefeweizen
- Union Jack Porter
- Hop For Teacher IPA
- STUSH (Basic Berlinerweisse)

As the speciality beers run out they will be replaced with the following throughout the day:
- Mango IPA
- Chocolate Hefeweizen
- Coconut Porter
- Emperors Cloud Green Tea IPA
- Watermelon Jolly Rancher Berliner
- Hazelnut Coffee Imperial Sweet Stout

I mean, I was hoping for some DFPF or Miami Madness, personally. I hope you all enjoy jolly rancher berliners (seriously, what does that even mean?) Yellow Dragon Tea berliner and hazelnut coffee imperial sweet stout sound like they could be tasty though.

 

That place will be a total shit show crowd wise. I wish everyone luck.

 

Fresh, natural fruit is used and Mango is out of season (Miami Madness). DFPF is being brewed next week, but most will be bottled for the OG's.

So will Funky Buddha on Saturday. As a 4 year Hunahpu Day survivor, I well aware what these things can turn into. I will be fine at JWB tomorrow and the FB on Saturday.

 

Ehh...the Buddha tap room and grounds holds a lot more peolle then JWB. It's also their first day open, which usually results in operational problems, finally all the beer geeks are in town. It's really the worst possible time to "soft open"

Even the Buddha brewery opening (which was also a shit show in some respects, had a much gentler soft opening to vip members)

My guess is that JWB will run out of beer.

But hey. I'm a pessamist.

 

Good thing blue raspberry jolly ranchers are in season.

 

He will run out of the specialty beers, I don't expect he'll run out of the core beers (except possibly the basic berliner). He's definitely going to have a shit show on his hands. Place is small relative to the giant group of people coming his way. It's unavoidable, really. That said, godspeed to all going down this weekend.

Tonight & Tomorrow will be a soft opening of J.Wakefield.

 

I decided against riding down to jwb tonight, I feel like it's going to be an absolute shitshow there. I wanted to get there, but I imagine there are....quite a few folks there.

 

I'd be there if it weren't for this pesky job that seems to eat up so much of my time.

 

It's busy here but not overwhelmingly crowded. All beers haven't run out yet. So far, everything is great!

 

it's a good size crowd. the peach ipa is ridiculous good.

 

Decent crowd at 9 or so, not anything crazy. No wait for the beer. Hibiscus Berliner and Emperor's Cloud Green Tea IPA were awesome

 

Great soft opening. Very busy, not crowded, and not one beer tapped out yet. Will also be at Funky tomorrow and will enjoy myself.
Don't have to condemn if you're not gonna commend. Looks bad. Cheers.
